Membership Categories
If there are no vacancies in the Active category you join the Club as a Social Waiting for Active (SWA) member and will be transferred to the Active category as space allows.

Our membership is made up of the following categories:

Social Waiting for Active – Non Voting
Playing privileges: Daily after 1:00 pm, or as times are available.  Green fees are $45.00+5% tax per round.
Dues: $130.00 +5% tax per month
 
Active - Voting
Full playing privileges daily except on Tuesdays - Women’s Day and Thursday - Men’s Night etc.
Dues: $330.00 +5% tax per month
 
Active Restricted – Voting
Playing privileges: Daily except on Tuesdays - Women’s Day and Thursday - Men’s Night etc.
Saturday from 1:30 pm, Sunday & Holidays from 11:30 am.
Dues: $319.00 +5% tax per month
 
Senior – 65 years and better - Voting
Playing privileges are Monday to Friday after 1:00 pm; Weekends and holidays after 2:00 pm.  These hours will be in effect year-round.  Prior to the above tee times, Senior members pay a green fee of $65.00 +5% tax 
Dues: $180.00 +5% tax per month
 
Non-Resident – Voting
Must be living not less than 80 kilometres from the Victoria City Hall, 1 Centennial Square, Victoria. Playing privileges: allowed 12 games annually with 12 games at the reduced rate ($65.00).
Dues: $118.00 +5% tax per month, NO quarterly F&B or monthly Capital Assessment.
 
Medically-Restricted – Voting
Transfer to this category is for a minimum of 12 months, no golfing privileges during the 12 months.
Dues: 50% of dues and NO quarterly F&B or monthly Capital Assessment.
 
Social-Complimentary – Non Voting
Transfer to this category is for Active or Senior members who have maintained active status for a minimum of 5 years and resigns.
Clubhouse Assessment only: $50.00 +5% tax per month, NO quarterly F&B.
 
Intermediate 3 – 30 to 35 years – Non Voting
Playing Privileges: Intermediates will be permitted to tee off Monday to Friday after 2:00 pm and after 1:00 pm on Weekends and Holidays, year round; provided there is no interference with Voting members' play.  On a day to day basis, Intermediates will be permitted to tee off at any time, provided they are accompanied by one or more Voting members.

Dues: $199.00 +5% tax per month, $15.00 + 5% tax Capital Assessment.
 
Intermediate 2 – 26 to 29 years – Non Voting
Playing privileges: Intermediates will be permitted to tee off Monday to Friday after 2:00 pm and after 1:00 pm on Weekends and Holidays, year round; provided there is no interference with Voting members' play.  On a day to day basis, Intermediates will be permitted to tee off at any time, provided they are accompanied by one or more Voting members.

Dues: $199.00 +5% tax per month, $15.00 + 5% tax Capital Assessment.
 
Intermediate 1 – 21 to 25 years – Non Voting
Playing privileges:  Intermediates will be permitted to tee off Monday to Friday after 2:00 pm and after 1:00 pm on Weekends and Holidays, year round; provided there is no interference with Voting members' play.  On a day to day basis, Intermediates will be permitted to tee off at any time, provided they are accompanied by one or more voting members.

Dues: $144.00 + 5% tax per month, $15.00 + 5% tax Capital Assessment. NO quarterly F&B
 
Juniors – 10 to 20 years – Non Voting
Playing privileges: Juniors will be permitted to tee off Monday to Friday after 2:00 pm and after 1:00 pm on Weekends and Holidays, year round; provided there is no interference with Voting members' play.  On a day to day basis, Juniors will be permitted to tee off at any time, provided they are accompanied by one or more Voting members.

Dues: $77.00 + 5% tax per month, NO quarterly F&B or monthly Capital Assessment.
 
Social Single/Couple – Non Voting
No playing privileges, clubhouse privileges are as established by the Board.
Single Dues: $105 +5% tax per month
Social Couple: $165.00 +5% tax per month
 
All categories have a Capital Assessment of $50.00 +5% tax per month, per person, and a quarterly food and beverage minimum of $180 per person, unless as otherwise stated above.
 
You can pay your account with cash, a cheque, online through your bank account as a Payee or set up a Pre-Authorized Debit Agreement (PAD) for monthly withdrawal.

Member statements are emailed, or mailed out, at the beginning of each month and payment is due within 30 days.

Locker fees, club storage, pull cart and power cart storage fees are charged annually, if applicable. 

Golf Canada enrolment is automatic on joining Uplands and is billed annually by the Club depending on the date joined.

 
There are Tutorial videos on how to book a tee time, make a group booking, add your buddies and groups, etc. all of which can be found on the Tee Sheet page - look for the "Help" heading on the top right hand side on a PC or MAC.   

These Tutorial videos are also available on the Clubhouseonline App look for the three "..." dots in 'Tee Times' at the top right hand side and you wll see the 'Help' listed at the bottom.

Food & Beverage Minimums & Deferment 

Gratuities can be automatically added to your dining bills, please ask any of the Serving Staff or contact the office in order to set this up.

This policy manual has been prepared as a reference tool for use by members, board and administration. It is intended to lay out a set of topics which are referenced in key governance documents - the Bylaws, Governance Manual, and specific policies and statements. Together they set a framework for the operations of the Club in accordance with the authority granted to the Board, as well as to guide and assist management in managing and supervising Club operations.
